You Have Power

 You Have Power

 Luke 10:19

“Listen! I have given power to you. You will even stand on dangerous snakes and insects and you will have authority over all the power of our enemy, Satan. Nothing will hurt you.”

Jesus doesn’t whisper this promise—He says, Listen! That word alone invites us to lean in, to receive something bold and life-changing. He’s not giving us a little help or a temporary shield. He’s giving us power—real, spiritual authority that stands firm even when danger slithers near.

Snakes and insects here aren’t just creatures—they’re symbols of fear, lies, and attacks that creep into our lives. But Jesus says we will stand on them. Not run. Not hide. Stand. That’s victory language.

And over Satan himself? Jesus says we have authority. Not because we’re strong, but because He is. And He shares that strength with us.

Declaration

Today, I walk in the power Jesus gave me.

I will not fear the enemy’s tricks or threats.

I stand firm, knowing nothing can truly harm me.

I am covered, called, and courageous—because Jesus said so.

Lord Jesus, thank You for giving me power—not just to survive, but to stand strong. Help me remember that You’ve already won the battle. I choose faith over fear, and I trust that nothing can hurt me when I walk with You. Amen.
