Be Still and See His Power

Be Still and See His Power

“Come and see the great things that the Lord has done…” Psalm 46:8

In a world that often feels loud with conflict, chaos, and uncertainty, God invites us to pause and look. Not just glance, but truly see. His works are not hidden. They are bold, breathtaking, and sometimes even terrifying in their power. He breaks the weapons of war. He silences the noise of battle. He brings peace where there was once destruction.

This is not the quiet of surrender, it’s the quiet of divine authority.

God doesn’t just end wars. He rules over nations. He doesn’t just calm storms. He speaks into our hearts:  “Be still and quiet! Understand that I am God.”

What a command. What a comfort.

When we feel overwhelmed, He says: Be still.  When we’re unsure of the future, He says: Know Me.  When the world trembles, He remains: King over all.

Let this truth settle deep in your spirit today:  You don’t have to fight every battle. You don’t have to carry every burden.  You only need to be still, and know.
