Everything Is Possible
Everything Is Possible
Jesus said, "You should not say, “If you can do anything.” I tell you, "Everything is possible for those people who believe.""— Mark 9:23
How often do we whisper prayers with uncertainty—“Lord, if You can…”—as if God’s power depends on our situation? In this verse, Jesus gently corrects that mindset. He reminds us that the question is not about His ability, but about our belief.
Faith is not a fragile hope; it’s a confident trust in the One who holds all things together. When we believe, we shift from “if” to “yes.” We begin to see impossibilities as invitations for God to move. Belief doesn’t guarantee immediate answers, but it opens the door for divine possibilities.
This verse was spoken to a father desperate for his child’s healing. Jesus didn’t shame his struggle—He strengthened his faith. And He does the same for us. When we bring our doubts, fears, and fragile hope to Him, He meets us with power and compassion.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for reminding me that everything is possible when I believe. Help me to lay down my “if” and pick up faith. Strengthen my heart to trust You, even when the outcome is unclear. I choose to believe—not in my own strength, but in Yours. Amen.
Declaration:
I believe in the power of Jesus. I release doubt and embrace faith. Nothing is impossible with God.
