 God Shows Us His Goodness

“The Lord said, ‘I will let you see how great and good I am. I will tell you my name, that I am the Lord.’”  Exodus 33:19 


God doesn’t hide who He is. He wants us to know Him—not just by His power, but by His kindness. When Moses asked to see God’s glory, God didn’t respond with thunder or lightning. He said, “I will show you how good I am.” That’s the heart of God: full of mercy, love, and grace.


Even today, God is still showing us His goodness. In quiet moments, in answered prayers, in unexpected kindness from others—He whispers, “This is who I am. I am the Lord.”


Lord, thank You for being good. Help me to see Your kindness in my life today. Show me Your heart, and let me know You more. Amen.

- What does it mean to know God by His name?

Only Believe - In the scripture a man came to Jesus and said, "My little daughter is very sick. She is close to death. Will you come to my home and pray for her"? Jesus agreed. But along the way he kept getting stopped, one interruption after another. Finally word came back to him saying, "No need to come. You've waited too late. The little girl has died". The people were upset, very distraught. But Jesus said to them, Luke 8:50, "Don't be afraid. If you will only believe the little girl will be well". Notice the phrase, "Only believe".
