Time Is On Your Side

One time Joshua and the Israelites were battling 5 armies. God told Joshua that he was going to win. The problem was, they were running out of time. It was about to get dark, and the enemy forces would escape. But instead of being discouraged, thinking it was too late, Joshua was bold: he looked up in the sky and said (Joshua 10:12), "Sun stand still. Moon stay where you are".

The scripture says, the sun stopped in the middle of the sky. It stood still until the Israelites defeated their enemies.

It may feel like it's too late for you to accomplish dreams, too late to pay off the debts, too late to overcome that obstacle.

God is going to do for you what he did for Joshua. He's going to freeze time, so you can finish what you started. He's going to help you accomplish what you've started. He's not going to let you miss your destiny. You're not running out of time - time is on your side, because God is on your side. He controls time, he's not limited by a clock, by a calendar, by age, by year.

God is going to cause you to accomplish more in less time, he's going to make you more effective, more productive, more focused, more skilled. There's going to be a greater favour on your life. Now, don't sit back and think "I waited too long, I'm too old". No, God is going to freeze time, he's going to give you the opportunity to finish what you started.

God knows how to freeze things until you accomplish what he put in your heart. 


Heavenly Father,  

You are the Master of time, the Author of destiny, and the Keeper of every promise.  

When the sun stood still at Joshua’s word, You showed that even time bows to Your authority.  

Lord, I surrender my fears of delay and missed opportunities.  

I trust You to redeem every moment that feels lost,  to restore every vision that’s waned, and to revive every dream grown cold.  Let time align with Your divine calendar for my life.  

I declare today: Time is not my enemy. Time is my servant,  because You, Almighty God, are on my side.  

Freeze what needs to be frozen. Hold back the sunset on my calling.  

Give me divine acceleration, supernatural focus, and unwavering faith.  

May Your favour flood my life—speeding up what should have taken years,  

making me fruitful in every season, and guiding me to finish strong.  

I step forward with boldness, knowing that if You did it for Joshua,  You will do it for me.  

Let every minute echo with purpose.  Let every hour resound with glory.  

And let my days be crowned with Your goodness.  

In Jesus’ name, I pray—Amen.

Only Believe - In the scripture a man came to Jesus and said, "My little daughter is very sick. She is close to death. Will you come to my home and pray for her"? Jesus agreed. But along the way he kept getting stopped, one interruption after another. Finally word came back to him saying, "No need to come. You've waited too late. The little girl has died".
