1000 Reasons to Praise and Thank God 

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits." – Psalm 103:2  

There are not just one or two, but a thousand resounding reasons to lift our voices in praise. And if we dared to count, we'd run out of breath before we ran out of gratitude.  

- Praise Him for the sunrise—the whisper of mercy every morning.

- Praise Him for breath in our lungs and purpose in our steps.

- Praise Him for the cross, where grace outnumbered our guilt.

- Thank Him for every closed door that was really divine protection.

- Thank Him for the harvest we didn’t see coming, and the seeds still waiting underground.

Here are just a few of the thousand reasons:

- He is faithful when we are forgetful.  

- He sees us in our silence.  

- His mercy outruns our mistakes.  

- His promises stand when everything else falls.  

- He paints purpose even in pain.  

- He turns wilderness seasons into wonder.  

- He rewrites our endings with resurrection.  

- He holds the stars—and still holds us close.  

Challenge for Today:  

Don’t try to count all thousand today. Just find five reasons, right now, in this very moment. Write them down. Speak them aloud. Watch how gratitude opens the heavens and shifts your heart.

Prayer:  

“Lord, even a thousand thanks could never match the depth of Your love. Let my life become a living hallelujah—a constant offering of praise. May every moment, even the unnoticed ones, be a reason to thank You. Amen.”

Only Believe - In the scripture a man came to Jesus and said, "My little daughter is very sick. She is close to death. Will you come to my home and pray for her"? Jesus agreed. But along the way he kept getting stopped, one interruption after another. Finally word came back to him saying, "No need to come. You've waited too late. The little girl has died". The people were upset, very distraught. But Jesus said to them, Luke 8:50, "Don't be afraid. If you will only believe the little girl will be well". Notice the phrase, "Only believe".
