The Push Toward Purpose

The Push Toward Purpose

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” — Isaiah 43:19

Something new is coming. New levels. New influence. New growth. If God is pushing you, it's not because you're stuck—it’s because the door has swung open and destiny is beckoning.

Doctors never say to women who are in labour to push whenever you feel like it. Timing is critical. Pressure signals progress. If you feel stretched, squeezed, or unsettled, be encouraged—it’s the right time.

Consider the journey of a child in the womb. For nine months, it’s a haven: warm, nourishing, and effortless. Yet if that baby stays too long, the very place that once nurtured begins to restrict. Comfort turns into confinement.

The passage through the birth canal is tight, messy, and disorienting. But what seems like chaos is actually creation. Pain isn’t punishment—it’s the passage to promise.

Just like that baby, we often wish to stay in familiar places of peace. But if we’re not moved, we won’t grow. God knows the exact timing when your comfort zone must give way to your calling. He’s not pushing you out—He’s ushering you in.

You’re being stretched, yes—but you’re also being strengthened. Pressure is proof that promotion is near.

Declarations for Today

- I embrace God’s timing, even when it’s uncomfortable.

- I trust that pressure is preparing me for promise.

- I’m stepping into new growth, new gifts, and new glory.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the seasons of preparation. Even when I feel pressed on every side, remind me that You are present and purposeful. I surrender to Your stretching, knowing You are leading me into newness. Amen.
