Silencing Doubt, Amplifying Faith
Silencing Doubt, Amplifying Faith
There will always be two voices competing for your attention: the voice of doubt and the voice of faith. Often, the voice of doubt is louder—bombarding your mind with thoughts like, "You’ll never get well," "You can’t break this addiction," "You’ll never get out of debt," or "Your family will never be restored."
Sometimes you wake up in the middle of the night, and those thoughts still come. But if you quiet your heart, you'll hear another voice—a still, small voice. It’s God whispering to you: "I’m fighting this battle. This too shall pass. You will recover. Healing is coming. Abundance is coming."
Now, you must choose. Will you let the voice of doubt replay its worries, echoing negativity and “not-going-to-happen” thoughts? Or will you do what Paul did and boldly declare:
“No, I will never doubt what God can do in my life. I will never doubt His mighty power, which is greater than anything I’m facing.”
